SpeedShare works as a client communicating with a server. When you purchase a copy of SpeedShare, you get one copy of SpeedShare Server (the server) and one copy of SpeedShare (the client).
Each copy of SpeedShare Server and SpeedShare (the client) is licensed for installation on one computer. Installing either of them on more than one computer requires the purchase of one copy of SpeedShare (the product) for each computer.
You also have the option of installing the client and server portions of SpeedShare on different computers. This gives you the ability, for example, to access files on your Mac at work (where SpeedShare Server is installed) from your Mac at home (where the client is installed).
